Why should I press the power button twice to close my laptop?

For some reason, I have to click the button power twice and arrested him. The same effect as when selecting restart / close the menu. My belief is that a certain program or programs can be the decision of the disconnection process after the program ends. What could be causing this?

I guess when pressed once enters standby mode if you want to be a simple click, go to Power Options and click on the cover closign fact and everything in your control panel. It depends, Vista will be easier. Just click the battery icon in the bottom right and you find yourself to be from there.
